Troubleshooting
Problem
When using 'Local System' for the 'Log On As' property of the Cognos 8 service, users are able to authenticate against active directory without any issues. When changing the 'Log On As' to a domain account, no user can login.
Symptom
This error is seen on the login window when user tries to login to cognos.
CAM-AAA-0036 Unable to authenticate because the credentials are invalid.
The below error is observed in the cogserver.log file
There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request
